So these below are my blood test results. I know my triglycerides are too high but it was a non fasting blood test and 3 hrs priors to it, I went to Nandos with friends and had a smoothie full of fruit which may have skewered THAT result so I'm being retested with a fasting blood test.
But the nurse said my Cholesterol was good, what do all the figures mean please ?
And how do I get my triglycerides down please ? I won't fib, I'm not veggie or vegan, I'm slightly overweight, I'm post menopausal, in very late 40s, I don't always cook from scratch, but eat loads of veg and protein and some fish. Not a cake/biccie/ice cream lover but love Dairy Milk chocolate lol! I stay away from bacon, sausage, pastry because I just don't like it. Have skimmed milk, barely eat cheese. Don't like cream. Work full time and don't have a load of time to exercise.
