Can my friend get the pill without prescription

My friend is coming with me on a trip to Devon, we are setting off early in the morning. She has just realised she has left her Pill (Microgynon) at home in Liverpool.

I'm in Yorkshire, she wants us to go to Liverpool and collect it, only problem its not on the way and will probably add 1.5 hours to a 6 hour journey. grrr.

Is there anyway of getting it from a chemist? She has it prescribed by a FP clinic not a doctor.

I have to go to bed now cos now we will have to get up earlier.

You could go to any GP as a temporary resident.

well said solo or say no and keep your nickers up too important to start a new baby.If you/she cant remember to get your pill.Or there is the morning after pill.

She should be able to get it from a pharmacy as an emergency supply - but she will have to pay for it - no idea how much it costs these days.

the chemist may give you some as an emergency....I've done it once...

Yeah this happened my sister when she was only holiday in Scotland. Can't remember what happened exactly but she was able to get replacement pills from the chemist.
