Hi. Not sure if here or beauty is the right place to post but looking for help with spider veins. I’ve started noticing spider veins popping up - mainly on the inside of my knee. I’m 40 next year. Is this normal? And what can I do to get rid of them? Anybody got any tips on removal and prevention of more? Thanks in advance!

You would need to have laser treatment, or injections.

@DiamondThronethank you. Have you had either done that you can recommend?

I have had some veins done on my face, with laser. (I think it was laser - IPL?) It felt like elastic bands pinging at my face.

I would love to get my legs done. My leg veins are like yours, plus larger. At the point where they are varicose veins, I think you have to have injections to cauterise the vein.

Mine are around my ankle area and are a million times worse than yours look on the pic.

I would have spent far too much time and money getting them fixed, and from what I hear they can come back after treatment too. 🤔 So I use a cover stick or Dermablend/Dermacol to cover them up. Works fine for me but I suppose it's up to the individual to decide which is best, treatment or camouflage!

For me, it's only on the few days a year we get hot weather, or when abroad that they bother me.

@DiamondThrone thanks so much for your advice and knowledge 😊

@Anzenathanks. I’ll give that cover up a go!
