I'm so impressed with this new service in Wales and wanted to share anyone it might help. You need to not be registered with an NHS dentist or not seen a dentist for over 4 years to be eligible.
Due to house moves and losing places on dentist lists, I've not been able to see a dentist for over 9 years, same for my 2 children. I heard about the access dental portal online and added myself and my children to the list at the beginning of April this year, I've just had an email with an offer of an NHS dentist for us all tonight.
The clinic is just a 30 min drive away but I could specify how far I'd be happy to travel.
I don't know if my experience is an average timeline but I hope this helps someone 🙂
