I was just wondering if anyone knows if you can take Amoxicillan for a UTI. My dh has a prescription at home that he never used and he said it will work. The label says its used for bacterial infections including kidney and bladder and I think UTI's . I havent been diagnosed yet but it sure feels like one. Could possibly be a bladder or kidney infection though.

Threeangels - so glad that everything has worked out with moving back home (especially your relationship with your mom) had been wondering what decision you eventually came to but it does sound that this new job for your DH was really 'meant to be'. Good luck with the move back home (& well done for even trying something different - lots of people don't even do that)...... and hope you feel a lot better soon too!

Threeangels - just wanted to add how amazed I am at the size of your Church membership - we think a good turnout at our local Church is 25!! I am sure it must be a wonderful community.

Hi Lindy,
I havent been on mumsnet for a week because we just moved but i just got on. Yes we do have a pretty good community. Knoxville Tn is known as the bible belt area throughout the US. The people here (especially the area I live in) are very much church goers. Which makes things really nice.

Glad to hear you are back home & hope everything is going well for you; we visited Nashville, Tn a few years ago - but didn't get much further than the KOA site!!
