Any doctors or nurses able to review my incision?

I’ve been back and forth to the doctors, hospital and my consultant following hernia surgery 4 weeks ago.

On my 2nd round of antibiotics after the tiniest hole opened up. This morning I noticed oozing on my dressing so I took it off to replace it, noticed the hole at the bottom (dressing has rubbed my scab off). I’m on antibiotics until Thursday and I see my consultant Wednesday.

I’ve got a new dressing on it now and I’ll leave it alone unless it gets really dirty, does it need to be checked out before I see my consultant?
I fear the big scab at the top falling off now…

Thank you in advance!

Sorry it just loaded. That’s fine. Have a shower and let the dry bits get washed off (don’t pick if they don’t come off just let them get wet and gently wash with non perfumed wash) and maybe put a small dressing like a micropore type thing at the bottom but the rest can remain uncovered. Take the abx until the course finishes.

Looks pretty good to me. Try not to pick it scratch at it if it’s itchy. Maybe get some silicone scar tape once the crusties come off.

Thank you so much! 🌸
I’m so fearful after the first hole appeared. I just can’t seem to catch a break.

Leaving it well and truly alone. That’s a good shout, I’ll get some ready for when the scab is off. Thank you! ☺️
