I attended a&e after having an ongoing elevated heart rate including overnight which has been stopping me sleep, making me wake in a panic etc. I have been copied into a letter from the cardiologist to my GP. I'm booked for an echocardiogram and waiting on a 24 HR ECG appointment. I have a family history of heart disease and got the impression this was the only reason they were following up as thought my tests in a&e came back clear but now I'm not so sure.
Can anyone help interpret what the letter says about my ECG I had in a&e, please? (I'm particularly confused as to why it mentions QTC twice with very different numbers).
She had an ECG which showed sinus rhythm with narrow QRS complexes and heart rate of 97 beats per minute and QRS duration of 170 ms, QTC 74 and QRS of 94, QTC 385 ms, subtle ST depression V4 to V6 and bloods were unremarkable, tropinin were negative.
