Painful breast - who do I go see?

Do I just see my gp or is there someone specialised?

My left breast quite often aches and I sometimes feel pain behind my nipple - I can't feel anything unusual but would like to get it checked as it's only the one breast and has been going on for about 4 years - not all that often but enough to make me worry a little.
