I have a HUGE favour to ask
Can anyone point me towards shoes that are suitable for a rocker bottom adaptation with a metatarsal bar built in?
I have had a pair of Shoezone steel toe caps adapted, but they've effectively had to resole them to make the adjustment
The sort of shoe I need must have
a thick, solid sole
not too spongy
not hollow
not made of layers of different materials
preferably with separate heel and sole/forefoot
No Cosyfeet style 'hidden depth' style shoes as the sole isn't thick enough
Must be extra wide/EEE fitting
Must have removable insoles
No Barefoot/Vibram style shoes
Lace ups
And black
