Does this look like a BCC to you? If not, what could it be?

On 38yo DP’s cheek. No injuries/cuts in that area, never had acne. I noticed the blemish about a year ago, and having flicked back through photos from this year, it has got bigger. He says it’s not painful and it doesn’t bleed. Up close, it almost looks like a really shallow crater, but doesn’t feel like one to touch.

I think it looks like it could be the start of a BCC, but DP isn’t so sure. Any thoughts, please?

Well, the only way to tell for sure is to see the GP in the first instance and they might do a dermatology referral. Best to get it checked anyway.

Is it raised? How long has it been there?
It could “just” be a sun spot but anything you’re not sure of should get checked by a GP for certainty it can’t be confined just by a picture
