The mini-pill Cerazette and difficulties losing weight

I have been on cerazette for almost 6 months and am finding losing weight really difficult. I have only had one period whilst taking it. I know it's to stop you getting pregnant but this makes me not want to even attempt the act! No sex drive at all. I am also quite snappy at times which is uncharacteristic for me. I also have days when I just want to stay in all day and not see anyone or do anything. Could this pill be the problem???

Going to docs tomorrow but I don't want to be brainwashed by a commission hungry medic.

I had exactly the same symptoms, and felt REALLY depressed while on Cerazette. I found Micronor much easier to take, despite having lots of breakthrough bleeding. HTH and good luck with the doc tomorrow.

im on cerezette too and have zero sex drive and finding it hard to lose weight.
i would come off it but for the fact im soooooooooooooooooooo scared of falling pregnant again it unreal. i only have to look at dh and im preggers

had same symptoms too. Presumably if you haven't had your period, the pill is stopping it coming through but it is ready to come through iyswim?

hate mini-pills with a passion, but hey combined pill is contra-indicated for me too.

Hmmmm might suggest that micronor. Combined pill gives me headaches hence mini-pill but I don't want to be bloody fat because of preventing getting pregnant! I don't want to become a complete man-repellent!!!

Well as of tonight cerazette is no more!

Anyone tried the coil???
