I did yesterday.

I am home and taking it easy. I am wondering when the pain stops and when can I go back to normal, laundry, hoovering etc?

At the minute the pain is okay if I lie on my right side or back, but if I am up and about for more than 10 minutes I feel i have done too much.

It's a while since I had mine so my memory of the recovery is a bit vague now, but that sounds about right. I remember feeling terrible if I had been upright for more than about 10 minutes.

When they discharged me they told me to mostly lie down for the first few days and to take it easy for at least a week. (Whereas beforehand they'd been really blase and told me I'd be totally fine after 24 hours. Hmm)

I tried to go back to work after 24 hours (because that's what I'd told work would happen, because that's what the hospital originally told me) and was promptly sent back home again because I looked so grey.

It took about a week or so to start to feel more normal and comfortable being upright, but I was still sore for a little while longer and things like ironing were uncomfortable for a while (possibly because I didn't rest properly at the beginning).

That’s good to know thank you.

I will carry on resting then until I feel better 😊

No worries, hope you start to notice an improvement as each day goes by!
