Fibromyalgia blood pressure

Weird question but does anyone else with fibro have pain when they have their blood pressure taken? It’s not just a bit uncomfortable it does hurt quite a bit, I don’t know if the cuff too tight. Also if it causes pain won’t that make the readings higher than it would be at rest so not very accurate?

thanks

I don't have it and I find it hurts.

I have fibro and it's unbearably painful to get my blood pressure done in those automatic cuffs. It does affect the readings a lot too. I've cried having it done even while on morphine.

Ask the doctor/nurse if they are willing to take a manual reading instead - it's much less pressure and for a lot less time. It's still uncomfortable but not outright painful.
