Can dd1 go to school if dd2 has chicken pox?

I know i physically cant take her but can arrange another mum to take her but i dont want dd1 to go if she has it inccubating and infects others ikwim.
What do you think?

I think yes she can. There s no guarantee she has got it, and besides if she is incubatin it then it will probably be too late anyway as it could well have already been passed on, esp as DD2 has it already.

yes but let the school know that your dd2 has it. and in about 11-14 days from dd2 first spots appearing look for signs of illness in dd1, cold like symptoms.

Yes I would, it can take up to 3 weeks to come out and you can't really keep her off school for a month. And don't feel bad about it, everyone gets chickenpox sooner or later and surely nobody wants there dc's to get it in there twenties.

I must admit cp has been doing the rounds and she hasn't succumbed yet she is a very sturdy child so fingers crossed she wont. I will ring the school first thing tommorow and make sure that its ok and then organise a lift for her.
