Haematology referral - panicking

Hi I had some blood tests recently and have now been referred to haematology and I am feeling very anxious and stressed. My immunoglobulin igG levels are too high. Also they did a light chain test.

Background - the test was just a general check up, I had no particular symptoms.
I am in my 50s, post menopausal, standard symptoms, trying to lose weight, feeling tired and wondering about HRT.

First doctor I spoke to said before HRT we should do a poo test and blood test. Poo test was fine.

However I have actually been feeling less tired due to managing my sleep and stress better so was thinking I can manage OK without HRT.

Then blood test results came back, generally everything is good just my cholesterol a bit high so I have taken this on board and have adjusted my diet.
Also my proteins were a bit high - Dr said not to worry but have further tests - now referred to haematology and really panicking.

I last had a blood test two years ago and it was ok then, so this is a fairly recent change.

I am stressed I might have myeloma, everything I have read on my blood test results indicates this and I have spent too long on Google 🙁

The only positive thing is that I don’t have any of the other symptoms like bone pain, anaemia, high calcium, recurrent infections etc.

Of course the GP says not to worry, and just wait to speak to haematology. Last night I was sick with the worry. I just keep thinking about my kids.

Sorry just needed to offload. Just wondering if anyone been through anything similar and can offer words of wisdom?
