Hi, I had a Gastroscopy on 2nd April where they took 9 biopsies which I felt was excessive since they said in the report that it mostly looked fine. They said my results will be back within 1-2 weeks and it's now been over 3 weeks. I called today and spoke to the secretary who confirmed my results are back but need to be reviewed. She said she can't discuss any of it with me as she isn't clinically trained too and "there's big words". she has flagged it for me and told me to wait to hear from the Dr. How long did people wait for this? I'm just sitting here in pain while I wait for answers and I'm just absolutely drained. I'm guessing it's nothing serious as I'm sure the Dr would have been quicker to let me know the results and discuss it with me? But I'm just in pain and just need some answers 😞
