so fed up with sinus infection

i've had it since february and it seems to have come back with a vengeance. i've been referred to a specialist but that will take weeks. gp hasn't given me any more ab's just nasal spray which is useless.

any home remedies i can try apart from snorting salt water? tempted to buy drugs off the interenet.

Hello. Can I join the club as well? Qualifications - sinuses of concrete, chronic rhinitis, polyps. Have been along to ENT but apparently am a borderline case for surgery so am not bothering.

I am absolutely not an alternative remedy kind of person, and faithfully do the nasal spray drugs, but last year in desperation I went to the health food woman my mother swears by, who sold me a bottle of Aller-Max. Appears to be some sort of natural anti-histamine. While it hasn't stopped me in snot overproduction I do rather feel it is at least keeping it moving. So far I haven't had the complete nasal blockage that I have had in the past.

Downside - not cheap.
