Spot/pimple on face that comes and goes

So I’ve had this spot under my skin ( or pimple like thing, not sure what you would call it ) that pops up for a few days and then just disappears and then comes back again. The only way to describe how it feels is almost like a spot that needs squeezing but can’t see a head on it ! Feels a little tender when pressed but otherwise is fine. Im 32 and skin in general definitely feels a lot more dry and itchy at times especially on my scalp so wondering if it could all be connected
I do have dry skin and do get redness on my cheek bones but this spot/little bump has come up more recently.

anyone else gone through similar ? I have a GP video call tomorrow

Could be rosacea? I have it and sounds similar to that - I thought rosacea when I started reading and then saw the bit about redness which is also a rosacea symptom

Might it be hormones? When I still had periods I would often get something similar, almost like a boil that would come up for a few days each month. It was red, sore and never developed a head.
