dd can't have chicken pox if it's only two spots, right?

She was exposed to it less than 3 weeks ago, so have been waiting for it.
She has two spots (fluid filled) noticed about 9.30 this morning - one on her cheek the other on her face. I've been whipping up her top every two minutes, but nothing.
False alarm??

Sorry to be the harbinger of doom but DD had 3 spots for the first 24 hours and I thought we'd got off lightly and then ping, ping, ping they all appeared....

See how she is tomorrow I think.

or some children have it very very mildly and only have a couple
but then I think you can catch it again, so I hope she gets a proper dose of it for your sake!

Although I think its more normal for them to start on the body - dd's first 3 were on her chest, under her arm pit and on her back.

Could be very mild (my HV said this was possible, never heard of anyone getting off that lightly), or could be they're all going to pop out.

Remember DD1's came out overnight, after seeing just one or two in the morning.

The first time dd had it she only had 2 spots. A year later she got it really badly
Same with ds but he only had 1 the first time.
But I'd expect more to appear on your dd overnight.

No, no, that's NOT bad news - I am very keen to get it (have been rubbing her & her brother up against local pox-kids)

Damn, princessmel, that sounds rough - that's not what I want ... will paint on some extra tomorrow if none appear.

hummm, although this does rather suggest that taking her round the national gallery this morning may not have been one of my better decisions - sorry to anyone who was there & doesn't want pox
