Or rather, around my stomach. You know that feeling when it’s day 2 of your period and you feel like you’re going to birth a hippo? or like when you’ve had a c section and you feel like the worlds going to fall out of your abdomen? I feel like that. Tender and bloated and just weird, like my tummy is full of fluid or something.

Ive got a bit of pain in my lower back too, I am tired and i’m not peeing much. I’ve left a sample into the GP in case of UTI but i’m not running to the loo like i usually would with cystitis. Less if anything. It does feel like a waterworks problem though somehow. I’m trying to drink a bit more too. I’m sure the GP will shed some light once they’ve done their test but is anyone familiar with this feeling? Definitely not pregnant - perimenopausal if anything. But i’m mid cycle and not feeling particularly hormonal.

Honestly? No one can really say, but I would definitely book a GP appointment. The 'heavy' feeling and fluid is probably enough to get you seen pretty soon.

I had a heavy bloated feeling in my stomach and it really sapped my energy. Long story and an ultrasound later, turned out to be a mahoosive fibroid. I had a hysterectomy, and OMG, felt light as a feather after, it was marvellous.

Good luck, but deffo push for more investigation.

Thank you! The urine sample must have had something in it because the doctor has prescribed me antibiotics. This is not like any UTI i’ve had before but i’m sure there’s lots of different kinds. Thanks for replying 😊

I've had UTI's that feel exactly like that op. Hopefully the meds will sort it out.
