I have been on 2 BP meds for a number of years Acerycal 10/10 and Atenolol 50mg. On Monday i started Indipamide 2.5 mg on top of those. Since then my BP is rising every day throughout the day. Latest reading is 170/83- yesterday's were 161/91, 159/94 and 168/92. My question is can a medication taken to lower BP actually cause the opposite? I'm not sure what to do as GP is closed. In Ireland so no 111. Waiting on online nurse to call back. I have headache, whooshing in ears and feeling of pressure in my head. Any ideas please?
