uterine cancer

my cousin has jus been diagnosed with uterine cancer, she is having an mrsi scan tomorrow to see if it has spread and starts radiotherapy on Monday.

Has anyone had this type of cancer or know anyone who has and have they beaten it.

Sorry, queen, tried to post last night and website crashed.

My ex boss had uterine cancer, she had surgery followed by radiotherapy (implant, I think) and was very tired during the latter - but was back at work shortly after, and is still doing fine six years later.

My understanding is that its a very treatable cancer if caught reasonably early, and it often is caught reasonably early, IYSWIM.

Queen - sorry to hear about your sister - is it endometrial cancer, or a sarcoma of the uterus that she has been diagnosed with?

Good point - I think my boss's was endometrial, but am not 100% sure.
