Bras and swimming costumes for big boobs

Hi,
I had no idea what topic to out this under but I was wondering if anyone could help.

I'm looking for if there is anywhere out there that sells bras or swimming costumes at affordable prices for my size. I'm currently a 32kk, I was a 34L whilst pregnant and breastfeeding and before that I was a 30kk. I can get a couple options from Bravissimo which is great. But each swimming costume is 60 to 70 pounds and now having a child in nursery, costs are just alot!

My issue is I can't find anywhere else that'll go up to a kk, they seem to stop at k alot or go down a far enough back size. I feel going up to a 34k would be too much I think my back might be on the cusp of going back to a 30 so 34 just will feel too big.

I really don't get why this is such a massive issue and anyone who is a lovely 32D or something can just walk into Tesco or Asda and get a costume for 15 pounds. I've had a small back since I was a teenager and even though I'm not super slim it hasn't changed much and my cups have just gotten bigger over the years. I fear if I have another baby I may end up going to a size that doesn't exist as well.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Have you looked at Fig Leaves?

ClaudineMallory · 13/03/2025 21:28

Ask for this to be put into Style and Beauty - they're great on there!

Doggymummar · 13/03/2025 21:32

Move it to Style and Beauty

I'm in H cup myself so I feel some of your pain. There's no such thing as "cheap" for us.

https://www.storminadcup.com/swimwear go up to O but they are US-based.

Rigby and Pellier go up to M.

Pour Moi?

LightCameraBitchSmile · 13/03/2025 21:38

Agree there is no such thing as cheap for us - fig leaves, pour moi etc are all still expensive. My best successes are getting new with tags ones from Vinted. I got a brand new bravissimo swimsuit from there for £15 last autumn.

I find that Fantasie work well for me for bras and swimsuits. I’m 34 GG.

I have been looking there but haven't found anything yet. I have got some from Ebay in the past but looks empty atm.

It's really annoying isn't it

I'm 28J (although might have grown since my last bra!)

Last time I tried the costumes on in bravissimo they didn't even fit me. So I've had to get bikinis in bravissimo before. By a stroke of luck I managed to find a costume in next that actually fits me a couple of years ago. (Never normally fit in the ones in shops) Still wear it. I'm not sure I want to wear a bikini now though. I've put on some weight.

No idea if I'll find another costume to fit me

SkiAndTravelTheWorldWithMyDog · 13/03/2025 22:50

Bravissimo. Expensive but worth it. And go up to the size you need.

Reginald123 · 13/03/2025 22:56

I gave up and wear a bra that fits under a t shirt rash vest and swim shorts. Every swimming costume I bought either didn't fit my bust or was indecent at the gusset ( to the knees) if it fitted at the top.

I wear this in the local pool and feel a lot better about my bust as I see so many others who clearly have also struggled and failed to get the right costume size.

If you know what you want, then search the style name and size. I got a bikini in the summer direct from Panache website. Belle Lingerie have loads of discounted items . It's not the end of the world to go up a back size in swimwear, you could even alter the clip slightly. Panache have some swimsuits under £30 in 34k for instance.

Dazedandconfusedma · 13/03/2025 23:16

If you’re up for second hand, try Vinted. I got a great bikini for cheap (34k)

selffellatingouroborosofhate · 13/03/2025 23:24

A sports bra and "two inch" shorts makes a reasonable approximation to a bikini.

am similar size to OP & I have found going up a back size can be disastrous Blush given how much moving you do in the pool.
OP with Vinted, you sometimes need to filter differently as it won’t aleays pick up say 30kk as it isn’t a listing size. So it’s more work as well as more expensive.
