If you took my part in this trial, how has your health been?

I had to stop the trial as I developed breast cancer, discovered in May 2021.

I then went on to have chemo, radiotherapy, Herceptin injections and eventually caught Covid in April 2022.

I was then diagnosed with eosinophilic asthma. My previous well controlled asthma left me totally floored. I'm now on biologic injections.

They don't know why my asthma became so bad but I've often wondered whether the Novavax vaccine may had a part in it!

My health has been fine, no side effects.

No problems here, either (except those I can attribute to menopause, which is the result of my age, not the Novavax vaccine!).

I'm glad that you're fine.

I was told radiotherapy could have contributed to my deteriorating breathing but also that it could have happened regardless!

Who knows!

I've been fine too. I went into menopause a couple of years later but my mum was the same age as me so not surprised there.
What did happen, as I work in health/social care, was I was the only one in our building who didn't catch Covid when we had outbreaks for three years. Only caught it on my first trip abroad.
The only noticeable side effect as such was when I was around Covid and exposed, I knew. I had a swollen gland in my armpit for a few days which would then subside. That stopped for a couple of years but I actually had it only a couple of weeks ago when my colleague was ill. On the first occasion I was sent for breast screening and everything was great. I am now on annual testing anyway due to my mums history with BC.
We call the glands aching my superpower now Smile
