well went ot hospital and i basically feel let down - again

they found nothing wrong in eyesight and said didn't know what is is...perhaps hemangioma

story so far:

lo since born has two eyes different form one another - very mild

but during 7-8 months got real worse (thought teething) with left eyelid drooping erratically and intermittently quite badly - never covering pupil but def a droop

sometimes looks like extra crease? more skin on eyelid?

doc could be hemangioma

i thought those were on skin - no sign of anything on skin of my little one

anyone else have this? any info>

today def got depressed as eye has actually got worse since drops put in is eyes to dilate pupil few days ago!

feel bad and low anbd depressed

Hi - I don't know if this is relevant at all - and I think you should phone the doctor and ask him/her to go over what they meant again, otherwise you're going to worry more and it could be very minor, but I've got what's called a cavernous haemangioma behind my left eye.

they're completely benign little lumps, I think formed when blood vessels clump together (I'm sure there's a better medical explanation ) and if they grow, they can cause one eye to bulge - or if your LO has got one maybe behind the eyelid this could cause it to droop a bit??

Mine's tucked away behind my eye and the eye doctors I see are completely unconcerned about it - annual check up to make sure I'm OK but other than that no treatment needed at all.

Definitely phone your doc tomorrow if you can - they won't mind - and try to take some notes when you speak to them and ask them when they'll want to see your LO next.

good luck!
