Dry rash photo - what is this?

I've been to pharmacy who said leave it and return if it gets any worse but I don't know what might be, any ideas?

It's all over my neck on both sides and on shoulders and chest, a small bit on my stomach. Red and dry but not itchy.

No new washing powder or clothes or anything out of ordinary, I've had it for a week - could it be stress related? There's been a lot of stress.

(Picture is shoulder not boob btw!)

guttate psoriasis?

Pityriasis rosea?

My daughter has had a persistent dry scaly rash on her face. Pharmacist prescribed steroid cream. It improved but came back.
Tried various things but just bought her this and seems to really be helping after a couple of days.

Thanks all - I think Pityriasis rosea looks right I've not heard of this before.

Have you had a virus recently? I had it 2 years ago. It disappeared on its own.

No I haven't just very stressed. I'm hoping it'll start to fade, thank you

Looks and sounds identical to my guttate psoriasis

okydokethen · 04/03/2025 21:59

It isn't itchy which made me think it might not be?

Doctor agreed Pityriasis rosea and has given me a steroid cream and advised anti histamine and a particular moisturiser. Hoping it clears up soon as it's worse and looks awful
