Eustachian tube dysfunction- experience of otovent nasal balloon

Hi, saw an audiologist today who advised I have Eustachian tube dysfunction… said my ear drum was opaque which indicated fluid in ear. I have been given the otovent nasal balloons to use. Headache and feeling very weird, ear ache on and off, nausea (assume it’s related)… others experience similar? How quickly did their ETD symptoms subside? Many thanks

Took about 2 weeks to clear. The balloon helped, but I found it impossible to blow it up!!

Thank you @GG1986 ! Any side effects during the 2 weeks?
did you inhale the balloon air too? The audiologist showed me this and finding it difficult

If you look on YouTube there are some videos which are quite helpful in terms of getting the most effective use out of the balloon.
