Pain in ribs when breathing in

I've had this horrible virus since mid December, really bad cough, Dr's listened to chest at 3 separate appointments and could hear wheezing, but no crackling. Gave me antibiotics in January just in case and inhalers, the cough continued. 2 weeks ago I had a chest x-ray which was clear. The cough has got a bit better, but 1 week ago I started getting a sharp bruised like pain at the top of my ribs under the breast and mainly on the left hand side, it hurts when I breathe in. What could this be? I feel like because my chest x ray was clear that the Dr's won't want to see me again.

Pleurisy is a horrendous pain on breathing in. Might be that?

Id go to gp or ring nhs number purely cos pain in lungs on breathing in can relate to clots.

Things can have changed in the last two weeks, and this is a new pain.

I think you should get checked. You could call 111 to discuss and they will get you into the GP if needed.
