Unintentional weightloss and heartburn

I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this, I have constant heartburn ( not related to anything I eat) and I'm losing weight and have no desire to eat, like I've lost any sense of hunger. I am almost down to 7 1/2 stone now which is not where I want to be.

My GP ran some bloods which were fine and I've a scan next week but I'm at a bit of a loss what it could be.

Has anyone had a gastroscopy for something like this as GP said that could be my next step.

Thanks for reading if you got this far!

I think heartburn or gastric issues tend to affect the appetite.
I had nausea, vomited blood and weight loss and was referred to the rapid diagnostic clinic where they did CT and gastroscopy. They found nothing sinister, lots of inflammation and gastritis.

These are symptoms of ovarian cancer so it’s really good you are being checked out. I hope you find the cause & it’s something minor.
