Hole In Gum (Gross picture included)

Right at the back of my lower gums a crater has appeared. It feels mildly painful but nothing too bad really. It looks bizarre/ gross though. The molar next to it needs removing and I have a dentist appointment to sort that next Wednesday. Do I need to see a dentist sooner about this hole thing?

No all my wisdom teeth have come through. The hole is right at the very back. I’ve managed to really scare myself about it.

Definitely see a dentist asap,they'll know what it is. It's probably nothing but should be seen.

I have also just noticed that my tongue is a really bright pink colour so I’m even more scared. By bright pink I mean magenta. I have no idea what could have caused it or if it even linked but it won’t brush off.

Rinse with salt water and book a dentist appt first thing tomorrow,you'll feel better once you've started to be proactive about it.
