Could this have been Covid and what to do now?

Had what I thought was flu about 4 weeks ago. Fever, chills, hallucinating dreams, and extreme tiredness that hits like a wave. Thought I was getting better last week to be hit by a hideous dry chesty cough that just will not stop (not helping my cystocele!!) despite using asthma inhalers all day long. What can I do to shift it? I’m just so lethargic with it all. (Also I’m living on 1000 cals a day and am forcing myself to eat as just don’t feel like it but am not losing weight?!)

Er - go to your GP? (Not about the weight - that's a separate issue)

If you have asthma, you need to see your GP. They will always make a priority for an asthma patient with respiratory symptoms. (I know they do for me; in these instances I usually require steroids)

I think you should ring 111 or go and see GP. Do you have a Temp? I've been ill since 4th Jan. Was in hospital a couple of weeks ago with pneumonia.
