16cm cyst in abdomen - what to expect

A CT has confirmed I have a 16cm cyst that is currently displacing my colon and bowel.
Radiologist has recommended MRI.
I am trying to prepare myself on what’s to come and how long I have to wait.
Does anyone know waiting times of MRI in Scotland?
Do you think this will be classed as urgent?
Do you think they will be able to do this with key hole surgery?
How long is recovery time?
How soon would I get operated on?
Obviously you can see I am coping well with the unknown!!

i had a cyst similar size and it was open surgery. So a longer recovery probably 4 weeks before I felt physically better. 6 before doing any light exercise.
