Twitching eye and lip on one side of face

This has been happening since yesterday. First the eye now the lip. I know eye twitching very common with stress etc and I never worry about that. But the upper lip now too? Google seems to suggest it's something called "hemifacial spasm" which is chronic, has no cure and often gets worse. Also more common in women and Asians, which both apply to me. Has anyone had this?

Particularly concerned as it's just one side of the face, and was the eye first then the lip...which both seem to point towards this hemifacial spasm condition. Help?! Obviously will call GP if it doesn't get better.

You could ask your doctor for bloods (when they are done ask for the results print out yourself to take a good look). It might be caused by a vitamin deficiency. When you've had your bloods done start taking a good multivitamin just in case.

Try taking magnesium glycinate, high potency. It’ll take a few weeks to kick in.
