Bloating and loss of appetite

Has anyone suffered from this? For the last week I have been severely bloated, have acid reflux pretty much all the time and have lost any sense of hunger if that makes sense? I am eating as I know I have to but that's it and it's purely functional eating.

I thought it might be gallstones but I have had that removed 7 years ago, although I do have some pain in that area sometimes as well.

I don't know what to do really and my GP is normally pretty clueless, whenever I go I end up having to telling them what I think it is. It's getting me down a bit after a crappy few months.

I just had this for 1-2 weeks, not sure if it was a weird bug.

I was having morning diarrhoea too. No appetite. Stomach cramps. But then felt a bit better each evening. No temperature. It was odd.

I'm glad you're feeling better now, it's definitely odd and annoying!

I had this

It lasted about a week

I am on day 15 of this - started with bloating, no appetite, nausea, weird pains across top of stomach and niggling round belly button, not diarrhoea but not normal! Now I have burning tongue to add to it all? Other friends have it too, it's a strange one!

Think I have this now.
Very gassy and gurgly.
Stomach pains.
Exhausted and a bit of a headache.
Really been feeling crap all weekend. Was hoping it would have gone by now 😔

Ah! I'd forgotten about the burping, headaches and feeling tired! Also had that too, still tired now. 😫 Hope you feel better soon. Seems like you can just get on with things, just feel a bit lousy with it and very strange symptoms!

Hope everyone is feeling better soon. It's definitely a strange one, my GP said gastritis maybe but it doesn't feel like that to me. Reminds me of early pregnancy thank god it's not.

I've just had gastritis, very similar. Take nexium for the acid and Gaviscon.

Just tea and plain biscuits type snacks .

In other words treat it like gastritis.

LovelySunnyDayToday · 03/02/2025 18:36

I'm drinking kombucha and taking probiotics. Hot bath helps ease the cramps.
Eating ok.
Tired today.

How is everyone? I feel okay with this one day and then the next rubbish. Thought stomach was fine but gone back to feeling so full and nauseous! Such a fuzzy head too!
