try going to the chemist and asking the pharmacist... i got something for DS, it was clear liquid and not so yucky. cant think of the name of it though...

are you giving piriton for the itching?

Poor love.

controlfreakyagain · 07/05/2008 10:25

if you are of homeopathic persuasion give her rhus. tox.

Eurax cream is very good.

E45 - keep in the fridge, very cooling when applied chilled.

Piriton helps damp down the itching too, if there are no reasons to avoid it.

There has been a lot of bad press about tea tree oil, but a few drops in the bath really helped my boys.

mumoftwo37 · 07/05/2008 11:40

The best thing I found was bicarbonate of soda in the bath. My ds2 had it really bad at 14months and we bathed hime twice a day in bicarb - he didn't scratch and he hasn't got a scar on him!

Hi
I 2nd bicarb of soda in the bath a good sprinkle it dried my little ones spots up in less than a week.

aqueous cream with camomile, have heard nappy rash cream is very good for them too, after the iching has stopped bio oil to reduce scaring (but not on eyes)
