Always needing to pee- not diabetes

As the title says, for the past 6 months, I am always needing to pee. I've been tested for all types of diabetes, UTI's, camera in bladder, all fine. I wake up 1/2 times at night to pee and I pee a lot during the day. I drink about 2L of water and a couple of cups of tea.

I'm 42 and have had what I think are some peri symptoms lately.

Does anyone have a similar issue and is this linked to peri?

Have you had your kidney function and white blood cells count checked

@BabyCatMama yes, recent bloods show all normal

It seems an awful lot of water, 2 litres. Why do you drink that much? Also, tea and coffee both irritate my bladder and make me want to go.

Not unusual during peri and menopause, mine improved once on hrt but it's still more frequent than my DH who seems to be able to hold on indefinitely.

Have you had your calcium levels checked? High calcium can cause this.

I always need to go to the toilet too. Have done for years

I often put it down to nerves/ anxiety.

If it's not too intrusive - how are your bowels? When I'm constipated I'm on and off the loo for a wee what feels like every hour or more through the day.

Also if you're peri are you on any HRT? Vaginal oestrogen can help.

A handful of pumpkin seeds have really helped me,I take them on my weetabix. They're the main ingredient of the Uber expensive Jude bladder supplements. Also Google double voiding.

Have you tried vaginal oestrogen if you have peri symptoms?

I hadn't even realised how often I needed the loo until the cream fixed it.
