Whole body rash suddenly- pregnant

I’m 11 weeks pregnant. From around 11am today a rash has appeared on my entire body. It’s red and itchy. I’ve not had any new foods/soap/soap powder/medications etc. I’ve not got any sort of virus or been unwell other than pregnancy sickness/tiredness. I’ve made an appointment with GP and they will see me on Wednesday but just wondering is anyone else had anything similar? Worrying myself with how suddenly it appeared.

Please say you’ve told your midwife

I had this at 12 weeks. They told me that at this point in pregnancy your immune system is at it lowest so your body don't see you baby as a foreign invader and repel it. So a cold or anything like that can trigger an immune system response. I remember the person doing the ultrasound for my first scan being totally freaked out at my all over hideous itchy rash. They gave me hydrocortisone and it went away within a week. Was itchy af though.

I rang my midwife team this morning when rash started and they told to make a GP appointment.

Thanks- I’m demented with the itching already! I’ve not been unwell otherwise.
