Not me, but interested in this as I'm probably going to have to have one later this year, probably September.

I had one done 5 weeks ago, still waiting for my biopsy results

also had a large polyp removed

the actual op was fine, I was so scared beforehand, had to go under

But it was really fine

Glad it went OK - hope the results are positive too. They think I have uterine polyps too - have just had a cervical one removed, but they're going to scan, then do the hysteroscopy later.

I'm having one tomorrow - teeny uterine polyp to biopsy/remove. It was diagnosed by u/s scan.

I'm not scared about the op - its only short acting anaesthetic, and a very straightforward procedure, and I'm told its a lot (physically) like an ERP, which I had after a couple of miscarriages. But not as , obviously.

A little bit anxious about the results, though I know polyps are very common and odds are very good nothing more will happen.

I'm glad yours was ok, anniebear, good luck Jackie for yours!

Good luck Elibean - hope all goes well. Have to say, like you, the op doesn't really worry me too much. There's always a tiny bit of uncertainty about the results though, I know what you mean there.
