What’s wrong with my eye? (With photo)

It has been watery all day and now the veins seem more veiny. Any Mumsnetters with any ideas?

Your eyes just look a wee bit tired and weary - like you have eye strain, hence the veiny look...@Coffeeoclocked Have you been drinking alcohol? Do you smoke? Have you been in a smoky or polluted environment? Small chance it it could be the start of conjunctivitis. Just monitor your eyes for a couple of days.

@theeyeofdoe Looks pretty much the same and is quite teary. It feels tired even though I’m not tired if that makes sense.

If it's not worse, it's likely to be episcleritis, which is a mild inflamatory of the episclera underneath the conjunctiva.

Using eye lubricating drops will help symptoms, but it doesn't need any treatment, unless you develop a nodule on the area. It should resolve in 7-10 days.

Post back if it gets any worse.
