Getting tested for H.pylori worried about C

I had a blood test today for H.pylori. I have read a lot that H.pylori is a cause of stomach cancer. I have such health anxiety anyway.
I'll be starting omeprazole today and hopefully that will help while I wait for my test results.
Stupidly I thought my pain was muscle pain and went on for months, I thought it went away for a little bit but came back. Turns out it's my stomach! Been burping a lot more than usual.

Anyway I'm worried 😫 anyone else been in this situation? Thanks.

Hi OP. I've been told the same today and now on additional antibiotics to omezaprole. How are you getting on? Did you also test positive? Like you, bit worried that it can cause cancer but that's if left untreated.

Turns out it was negative! However I have nearly finished the omeprazole and my symptoms are not better which is now worrying me. I have another appointment booked for next week. I hope you get on okay.
