Could this be skin cancer?

I know I need to go to GP - I’ve booked in for next week. I asked about this previously and was told it was nothing, but keep thinking about it so am going to double check! It’s a spot on my shoulder been there a year or more. It’s only small but I just don’t like the look of it.

Is it raised? I had almost exactly the same, had it looked at by the GP who said it was nothing. Booked an appointment to see a private dermatologist who also said it's nothing and then phoned my two days later saying that he would like to remove it and send to the lab as it could be a spitz nevus - hundreds of pounds later it turned out to be a dermatofibroma (nothing). 😊

Actually it’s flat. Definitely not raised, in fact it’s almost like a sort of dips in in the centre. I had a look at photos of those two things you mentioned and it isn’t those but now I’m further down the google rabbit hole and think it looks like a basal cell carcinoma 🫣
