Just that really. I work pt as an Administrative Assistant and it’s pretty full on using the screen. I do take regular breaks but my eyes always feel sore afterwards. Then I use my iPad, so another screen…I often feel really tired when I’ve finished a shift (5 hr shift x 5 days a week). I’ve got drops, no difference. I feel like I want to sleep now, so tired, Any advice welcome?

How often do you use the drops and are they for extreme dry eyes, as that could be what the soreness is? I use Hycosan Extra (white and orange bottle that you can get from Boots, Specsavers etc). It’s gloopy, so you need a few seconds of blinking to clear your vision, but helps with dryness and soreness. A heated eye mask can also help, particularly if you have blocked tear ducts. Ultimately, though, I would see an optician, as they can at least check your eyesight and eye health are both okay.

Are you also viewing a screen a lot outside of work? Might be worth tracking for a week, to get a sense of screen time.

You also mention tiredness, so if you exhaust the eyes route, maybe see the GP and in the meantime, take a multi vitamin to see if you can boost your energy.
