dd with diarrhoea ....... and it's the bank holiday weekend!!

i understand feed as normal is usual now,
however she did have tummy age for ab out a week, refused to see doctor, preferred school,
THEN started having diarrhoea, so perhaps it was a slow tummy upset.
she is 8.
so lots of fluids? and feed as normal,
or should i be worried enough to try nhs direct do you reckon?

My dd is 7 and has had a tummy bug since Thursday. She was only sick and had diahoreah (spelling) on Thursday but now will NOT eat and anm having difficulty getting her to drink., She got dehidrated yesterday and had to force her to drink but I know nhs24 will just say it is a virus so I havent taken my dd. Am I a bad parent?? Hope your dd gets better soon its awful when they are not well isnt it.

The unfortunate thing today is I have a decorator coming to paint my livingroom (that sounds posh but it is my nephew), my husband is away all weekend on a stag weekend so I am forced to go to my grandads today. I feel awful about it as I dont want him getting it. No one in this house has got it though so hopefully it will be okay. I would just leave your dd to do her own thing for a couple of days though and see how she goes.

My mum's just had it too, so it must be yet another bug doing the rounds.

that's as good, probably better as they've probably got sugar in.
