Lansoprazole with aspirin - advice please

On GP’s advice I’ve started taking Lansoprazole alongside aspirin or Naproxen (a NSAID in other words) as a first response to migraine pain. My question is, is it ok to take a NSAID on an empty stomach if Lansoprazole is taken at the same time and then not to eat for several hours after taking? Because the last thing I want to do when having a migraine attack is eat…

i really wouldn't...what did the GP specifically say about medication timing as i presume you're being given the Lansoprazole because of a history of gastric issues? Lansoprazole should be min. 30 mins before food, and NSAID's with food.

also low blood sugar can trigger or worsen migraine attacks so you ideally need some food in your system anyway.
