Does anyone here have experience of leukemia?

Either personally or with close family and friends? What does it feel like? There is a long list of symptoms online? Do you experience all of them or only a few of them?

I am hoping I am paranoid.

Sometimes I experience pain in what feels like my bones. It's odd. I had a rash on my chest that comes and goes for over 4 years. I googled leukemia rash and my rash nearly looks identical. It's only on my chest and nowhere else.

As for other symptoms like easily bruised. Not so much for me. My feet get sore very easily and sometimes I think I have bruises on my toes just from walking. I don't experience nose bleeds but I do experience frequent headaches.

I was just wondering if what I am experiencing could be leukemia. I am probably just paranoid.

If you've had symptoms for 4 years and your health hasn't deteriorated in the whole time then I'm sure it wouldn't be leukaemia

My mum started with rear hip/tail bone pain. Then random unexplained bruises on her legs and then body. Then still ignored this and the general feelings of exhaustion and pain. Then got horrific mouth ulcers and bruised gums. It was at that point she was marched to the local dentist who immediately spotted the symptoms and she was blue lighted to the nearest blood cancer specialist hospital

with leukaemia you would have constant infections, exhaustion, bleed easily without clotting …..if you have a full blood count done you would know if you have anything to worry about.

DH bled from every orifice. Chest pain from severe anaemia. Breathless on least exertion. Exhaustion. Grey skin- looked dreadful. Petechiae all over.

There was clearly something very wrong.

My aunt had horrific unexplained bruising. She then started with breathlessness. All in real quick succession. I very much doubt you have leukaemia but I wouldn’t trust Mumsnet unqualified professionals, if you have doubts see a GP.
