One ovary bigger than other

I've been off contraceptive for 2 years, TTC since September. I went without my period for 2 months after TTC, so assumed I was pregnant but tests were coming up negative. My doctor booked for an emergency scan and they couldn't see anything that could be affecting my fertility, so until I have bloods done I won't know for certain. What's concerning me is the results, it says I have one ovary with the volume of 11ml and the other 19ml. Is this normal? Is there anything on there that could be possibly related to struggling to TTC?

Possbly bigger as thats the side the egg has been released from? X

I agree it could be bigger because you ovulated from that side? You sometimes get a corpus luteum when you are pregnant, have you done a test? I had one in my pregnancy and it showed up on my early scan x

You get a corpus luteum on every ovulation cycle. It's where the egg has been released from.

I've been off contraceptive for 2 years, so test regularly, but at the time of the scan there was a very small chance I was going through a chemical (although never confirmed). So I'm not sure

I don't think the size difference is too awful especially as you ovulated from your left. Not sure how a chemical pregnancy may affect ovary volume etc, sorry but hope you are OK.
