ENT / swollen ear / can’t get a diagnosis :-/

Can anyone help with this skin / cartilage issue for my family member please? See pictures.

For the last month my she has had a swollen red and sore ear - all of the skin and cartilage has become tight and red and hasn’t gone down despite multiple antibiotics (including IV) as well as a week of anti-virals. The skin has split in one place and has a small scab on the back of the ear. She said it’s not painful. But is uncomfortable.

No one seems to be able to work out what is wrong, so I thought I would post here in case anyone has seen it before?

Looks like otitis externa to me. It can be be fungal or dermatitis related aswell as bacterial. Since the anti B doesn't seem to have worked maybe ask doc if it could be dermatology or fungal related and maybe a diiferent treatment might work.

Try washing it with a shampoo like nizoral or head and shoulders
