Femoral hernia - anyone??

I've got a femoral hernia. Any ideas how soon it will be for the surgery? Also, how long should I expect to be off work after the op? Is recovery ok? I've had a c section so I'm thinking it can't be worse than that!

Have you had your surgery yet? I’m 29 weeks pregnant and have been told I’ve got a femoral hernia and am wondering whether to opt for a c-section to stop it from getting worse!

@Tee1991 sorry only just seen this! No I'm still waiting for surgery...I'm on the waiting list but haven't heard anything in a while now. Mine hasn't got any worse though, it's staying about the same from what I can tell.
