Swollen lymph nodes and rash in toddler?

Hi everyone, looking for some advice, about three days ago I noticed my toddler itching his scalp so I checked and noticed a lump behind the ear, I then took him to the gp who had a feel and advised seems to be a swollen lymph node. He has now developed quite a rash and I’ve noticed another swollen lymph node on the other side? Any idea what this rash could be? Thanks in advance

Have you taken their temperature? Children often react to a high temperature by producing a rash, or it could be that the rash itself is the disease. Take them back to the GP and show them the rash.
