My 5wk old dd has vomited yellow vomit x2 this last couple of days. She is ex bf.
Spoke to the GP who said this could be colostrum but need more convincing about this.
Has anyone else had this .
she has gained weight well until this week, 10-14 oz per wk and is pooing and weeing fine.

speak to a bf counsellor - the NCT number is 0870 444 8708 - good weight gain, pooing and weeing are all excellent signs that feeding is going well - breastmilk also doesn't necc look anything like cows' milk - it can come in all sorts of odd colours and that's fine - but if you need reassurance talk to someone who knows about bf and that's not always your GP (they get shockingly little training about bf so their advice can be very variable)

Hi everyone,

My baby has recently been on Nystatin for thrush until two days ago as it cleared up.

Today she has thrown up little amounts of yellow sick kind of the same colour as the Nystatin however unsure it could be this as she hasn't taken it for 2 days!

She hasn't pooed for three days either.

I don't want to panic and take her to A&E if they will just say it's bile or because she's constipated.

Has anyone else experienced yellow sick?

Thanks

Yellow is within the normal range of colours for baby sick. If you see red, brown, or green sick, then you need to get your baby checked urgently.
